Letter 24: the Class Chorus Contest

To Tim,

You may had heard that we had a class chorus contest just today, and we won the first place. Buzz and Aubrey won the best piano accompaniment and the best conductor. Here is the video of us in the contest: https://youtu.be/xjc7v5nlb0A

We practiced a lot, and we put a lot of effort in this event. Here's how our class choir worked out:

Conductor: Aubrey
Piano accompaniment: Buzz

Soprano:
Allison(-group leader), Megan, Doris, Selena, Cathy, Melody, Summer (Our teacher joined us! But she had to borrow the uniform)
Alto:
Candy(-group leader), two Vivians, Red, Angela, Tiffany
Tenor:
Melvin(-group leader), Samuel, William, Hugo, Ericsson

We practiced every "lunch time", in groups. At first, we couldn't remember the Japanese words. Then, we had problems because some of us can't find their notes. And we had the biggest problem, we have less people and smaller voice. Though there were so many things that let us fell hopeless, we still made it to the last and we did a great job.

Everyone did great!

Allison

  1. Dear Allison,
Congratulations to Class 120! First, a good showing in the basketball tournament, and then winning the singing contest. You're on a roll.
I watched the You Tube clip, and, although I can't understand a word of the song, the singing was beautiful, as was Buzz's piano. As I said, a great job! What's next for class 120?
You're writing is getting a little better every time. Keep up the good work.

    1. Tim,
      Thank you.
I believe we'll have a volley ball game next semester, and I am looking forward to it.
